Diane Mannion, Copper Pot and Apples, 8x10" o/c
16th for the 30/30 Challenge. Started as a class demo in Punta Gorda this morning, finished later. I like some bits of this... relished painting the apples, like the purple flowers, but it's not one of my favorites. If I had time, I'd add more things in the background, which I can always do later.
Beautiful. I love to see artists that can make metal like copper or gold or silver look like they're supposed to.
ReplyDeleteLovely - really lovely. Fabulous use of color.
ReplyDeleteWOW...what a difference from this morning! You AMAZE me! What an inspiration! Those apples look yummy! Onto number 17...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dave! Great to see you keeping up with the Challenge!
ReplyDeleteJulie, nice to get a comment from another 30/30 Challenger! Your work is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathleen. Great to see you in class. Yes, it's almost impossible to get a brushstroke in edgewise in that class. I told everyone at the beginning (you missed it) that I was doing a demo of starting a painting.) I'd rather folks worked on their own stuff than watch me paint, except for short demos.
