Over 90 artists painted for two and a half hours this morning at the Phillipi Estate Park in Sarasota. This was my contribution, black boat left before I finished. Always happens... but had enough blocked in.

90 artists - wow! How great that must have been. I really like what you painted. The water looks so reflective - not easy to do.
Thanks, Julie Ford Oliver! Yes, this area in SW Florida is blooming with artists. There are so many plein air groups, art centers, and I have so many painting buddies that I could be out painting everyday. But like you, I'm hearing the call of the studio and love painting still lifes. Your last blog post is inspiring and I intend to set up more than one arrangement to work from in the studio.
