ARIEL

Diane Mannion, ARIEL, 8x10" oil on canvas
#2 for 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge

PAINTING PATTERNS

Ariel is a shop in Boca Grande.  Painted this because I was attracted to the patterns, the fence, parking lines, tree legs, shop awning and of course the morning light and shadows.

And finished version again.  There are areas in the thumbnail I wish I had left alone... urgh!

Love the patterns and colors! White buildings are tough! Loving looking at the 30/30 paintings...I'm not able to take part this time.

You have captured a nice sense of light here.

Thank you,Terri! I'm glad you like seeing part of the process, also helps me keep track of where I've been and where I SHOULD have stopped.

Karen, will miss you at the 30/30, but I follow your work anyway.

Sandy, thank you for commenting. Light is what inspires me!
