Half Way

Half way point in Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.  Is the glass half full or empty?  Will celebrate with a full glass of wine when this is over.  

Even though these paintings are tiny, they still take lots of energy and often more focus and concentration than larger paintings.  This challenge is tough... pardon the whining.

But I'm enjoying painting glass in a series, although a few pieces of candy have crept in.  Happy with the light glowing inside this canning jar.  Pleased with the soft edges.  

I love painting glass because I simply love painting light.  A humble object gains dramatic power when the light hits it just right.
