Painting Over
Painted this quick study (it's a weekend and family calls!) over an old painting I rejected. Used lots of thick paint (reading about Van Gogh may have influenced this).
Here's the old painting I turned upside-down during the first, sketch stage. It was a rose that didn't make it. Qiang Huang says... "Flowers can't be painted, only suggested."
