I heard them arguing all the way over. "You make every day a pleasure!" he growled. She jumped out and walked off as soon as the dinghy hit the shore. He jabbed an oar in the sand and tied a line from the bow. Glancing over at me, he nodded and said, "Another day in paradise." At least it was for me, I thought, opening my paintbox.
